The Royal Throne Moneybox

On Saturday our Queen Elizabeth 11 will have been on the throne for 65 years. That is a fantastic period of time, as I know in my case I only have to be on the throne for 5 or 10 minutes and I'm getting very uncomfortable. God knows how men can spend hours there with their newspapers and technical magazines (well that's what they call them).

I digress from the picture, it was on the 2nd June 1953 that the Queens Coronation took place, and naturally there were many souvenirs made to celebrate the day. Here is one that I have being a cast iron moneybox in the shape of the throne, known as King Edwards 1 chair and dates from 1296. That's the real chair not my moneybox.

It still doesn't look that comfortable to sit on for 65 years, magazines or not. Just had a thought, this is a moneybox where you could spend a penny.
I'll give it a "FAV"! It made me giggle!!

Some of the best thinking is done in the "throne room", nut that is from a programmer perspective, garbage in, garbage out. :-)
