Single handed photograph isn't easy if you want to keep the camera still, but I manged this capture bending over my patch of Irises in the corner of my front garden.
Being rather rotund and old, I was holding an orange card behind the flower in my left hand and trying to focus the camera and get the capture with right hand. You may well think this was difficult, but the hard part wasn't the left or right hand action but bending over without toppling headlong into the flower boarder.
Anyway this Iris looks beautiful so it was worth it.
I'm very impressed with your antics Lady M but I would love to have been peering round a corner watching you ha-ha. All your efforts were worth it. This is beautiful.
Heather, I completely understand what you are saying about some of the positions we have to get in to take the photo we want. For me, being 80 years old and trying to get in an upright position after being down has become a real trick. I always hope no one is around to see this!
