Continuing my bird theme from around my feeders is Mr. Blackbird sweeping up all the bits and pieces that the other birds through down from above.
I really love Blackbirds because they become so friendly and will get quite close to you. In the evenings they will sing their hearts out which is lovely.
Saying that they are very annoying 4.15 in the morning when they seem to lead the Dawn Chorus, I sleep with the bedroom window open in Summer and always have to get up to close it and dampen all the bird songs.
I think you'll find that Magpies can't sing, that's my excuse and sticking to it.
