I'm not sure about my other UK friends out there, but I'm really suffering in this heat wave we are having so I decided to have a cool shower this morning. When I pulled up the blind on the bathroom window, I noticed that I had a visitor by the window frame.
I must have trapped it in when I closed the window last night, sorry moth didn't see you. I managed to capture it in a little jug and released it outside.
Of course I had to look this moth up on the internet, and the closest name I came up with was "The Garden Dart". It certainly won't be darting round the garden in this heatwave.
The shower was great, might have another next year, wink.
