I've just come back from having my second Covid-19 injection, all went well but I was a little disappointed as I hoped I might have deflated a little, like a punctured blow up doll, not that I've ever seen one of those.
On the way back I stopped at the top of the hill that drops down into my village, just to take another picture of my valleys I live in. I just had to get this fabulous church in the picture with a tower in the style of the South Tyrol region of Italy and Switzerland, built in the 1860's.
It looks like that tree in the field also comes from another part of Italy, that being of course a Leaning Tree of Pisa. The church was part of a great Manor which is next door, it was built for one of the rich mill owners of these valleys.
It all makes a great picture and only about 800 yds from my home, unfortunately it's up hill so I'm only here as I pass by in my chariot. Keep smiling.
What a glorious landscape and a great pov with the Church's tower being the focal point with all else leading up to it ! - It does look rather Swiss doesn't it ( and the hills are alive with the sound of music !) Pleased all went well with your second covid jab ! I have another fortnight before my second one - wouldn't it be great if one got deflated on the stab of the jab !! ha !
