I went for another walk around my village (Middleyard) yesterday and moved further up the hill towards the spring and church. It was lovely to get out and about again with the return of the sunshine, I bet Noah is currently dismantling his Ark.
I spotted this lovely little cottage high up on a bank above the main road. It looks so simple in it's build with small windows and no big extensions. You can work out where the fireplace is in the lounge by looking at the heat stain going up towards the chimney.
Today, I wouldn't link this is a large family home as I would say that there are only two bedrooms upstairs. I might of course be completely wrong and there is a huge mansion attached to the back, what do you think?
Such a "no fuss" little house , as plain as the nose on my face !! - love the mellow yellow stone work , looking at the patchwork on the front , I wonder if there has been some alterations done at some time . it seems to be quite a tall house with the sharp slope of the roof ! Lovely to have some warmth and sunshine for your walk today Heather !
