Another capture from my walk in the village the other day, and it's taken from the main road that passes through the village. I think you can say that this is a rather remote home with nobody spying on you, well not without the use of binoculars.
You are looking up towards the hill and common land above the village, known as Selsley Common. This is a very popular spot for walking and also a place used by experienced Hang-Gliders, Paragliders and model plane flying, the first two not a sport that I would participating in, particularly without an engine.
The common land it's open for local grazers to graze their animals in certain times of the year, 1st May to 31st October, in fact cattle has just been put out. The main road across the common is not fenced off and speeding motorists have got to be careful of the cows, often one or two are killed each year. There are big signs as you enter the road over a cattle grids that say, "Kill your speed, not a cow", pity some don't take this note.
I must take my camera up there for you and give you a few views, don't worry I wouldn't climb up from the village, but take the car.
Love the way the house is sheltered by those lovely trees! Interesting about the common grazing. They use to have that on a common near us but for some reason there are no takers now!
Looking forward to your view shots.
