A Building in a Wood (Click Picture for Poem)

If you go down to the woods today
You‘re sure of a big surprise
You’ll find this building in the trees
And it’s only got one side.

No windows to look inside the walls
No door to get inside
How do you climb these giant walls?
No lift or stairs to rise.

The bricks are different here and there
It isn’t very pretty
It wouldn’t look like this in towns
Or even in a city.

In olden days you’ll see some smoke
Coming out the stack
Followed by some shocking noise
Of trains along a track.

It is a ventilation shaft
To keep the tunnel fresh
When trains go through below this ground
The passengers aren’t stressed

Keep smiling
What a cool old structure - and a fav for the poem!
