So this is one of the best views looking over my valleys, and taken near to Rodborough Fort. This place is really close to my heart, as it's the resting place of my late Sisters ashes and her husbands; they had lived in Rodborough for all their married life.
You have a great view over to the River Severn and the Forest of Dean on the other side. The hill in the centre is Doverow Hill, which I've always called my childhood playground; I lived in the town just below it. It has a very old quarry in the middle of those trees on the top, which was a good place for a game of hide-and-seek. You can imagine that in winter we had great slopes for sledging in the snow.
Central left are the fields and hill that goes up to my village. I think this is a beautiful view and I love it up there, not sure I can climb it these days.
