Geocaching can be quite difficult at times, hanging from the underside of little bridges, or climbing to top of a tree, I no longer attempt them. Others are quite easy like this one, where the clue was LHS Oak tree. Well yes there is a lot of abbreviations used but you soon remember them.
I think you will all see the plastic bottle that had the log book inside. So when you get home and log your find even more abbreviations are used. Such at SL TFLC dipped my travelling GC's. Translated that was, Signed Log, Thanks for the Cache, and dipped my travelling Geocoins.
Sorry if I'm not around much at the moment, my health has not been too brilliant and I can hardly walk around my bungalow let alone getting out and take some captures. I think I need a new knee and there's not much chance of that at the moment. I did purchase a turkey leg last week, but that didn't work either, I obviously need a Magpie leg.
A lovely shot of the tree trunk with its textures and colour tones ! and ye can see the litter !!(plastic bottle ) It seems to be quite a complicated hobby !! Sorry to hear of your painful knees - have been through it and now have two complete new knees ( as well as two complete new shoulders ) but still not very bionic !! Hope the Magpie leg will be yours soon !
Well that tree has a lovely little door & a window above it! I thought the bottle was litter….glad it’s there for a purpose. Sorry about your knee, I hope you’re on the list for a new one. My hip has been sore when I walk for the last five months or so …I can walk for about ten minutes at the most before it starts up aching. As soon as I felt it was a problem I went to the doctor who sent me for an X-ray around last October I think. She sent me for referral & the appointment is next Wednesday….I’m guessing it might be another three years before the actual op but I’m on the list!
Nice narratve, as usual. Sory to hear about your knee... take care!
