Over the last few weeks, we haven't really seen a rain drop in my village. I'm told that nearby the rain has fallen, but I think someone is holding a very large umbrella over the village, is it those Umbrella Ladies down under in Australia?
Last week the heat was unbearable, so much so I was getting concerned about my health. I made it through, just about, and watered the few plants that I have on my patio, and the Acer trees in my front garden. The news is warning of water shortages and the possibility of hose pipe ban.
I was sat on my patio about an hour ago, 3pm, and saw these dark clouds rolling it. Yippee I thought, no need to carry the watering can to the front garden this evening. Well, an hour later and that big umbrella is still being held over us. I was thinking of getting the bikini out and running around the back yard in the rain, it's not happening so the neighbours will be happy.
Those do look like rain clouds Lady M but we too have been fooled by them. We've had a few showers but not enough to do any good and it's very tiresome doing all that watering.
Great that these ominous clouds actually gave you some rain. If someone’s taken you bikini you’ll just have to get out in the garden in your bra and knickers 😉😁
