Reaching for the heavens

This little guy is trying to climb up my wild strawberries. It is a view from above. I got these strawberry plants in the Ardennes, in the woods. They seem to thrive on my balcony and they provide shelter for all kinds of animals.
Amazing photograph. Fav.

I must post a link to some amazing snail shots I saw. I thought of you and thought you might like to try some. Fantastic shot and how nice to find wild strawberries!

@bella_ss thank you Sheralee! I've seen these photos of Vyacheslav Mishchenko before. I have tried to reproduce them but I can't seen to get the reflections right in the 'puddle shots', which I like most. I have no idea what he's using. I've tried different water bowls and light angles... I could try again when my baby snails come of age :-)

@laetitiapetrussa I wonder if you could use a mirror. I will be interested to see what you come up with, your stawberry shots are beautiful!

I guess you have to be at the right angle with full sun.

@bella_ss I'll try again soon. The light is mostly hard and from the side or the back. But I think a mirror will reflect everything under the water surface, instead of only what's above. A silver tray with water does not work, nor does a black one. I'll keep searching, and if you ever find the solution let me know! :-)
