Laroque through the pinhole by laroque

Laroque through the pinhole

I have some art filter settings available on my camera. I really wanted to use the diorama function, but the shot using the pinhole effect came out better.
Nice! It gives it a Brigadoon kind of look.

I wouldn't have even though of pinhole. I thought you applied a vignette effect with a processing app.
I had mentioned, I'm beginning a class on how to use my camera, and I can't believe how many things are built in! We are starting out on full manual mode, which is challenging since I haven't done that since the ancient days of film &35mm

@colleenculhane It's one of the great things about digital photography, you can do as much experimentation as you want, and it is cost free. I tried most of the effects yesterday, though I find really only the Pop Art, Soft Focus and High Contrast are to my taste. And you are right, most can be reproduced with an editing program. I hope you enjoy your course. My French isn't good enough to take one here, so I buy cheap secondhand books from Alibris as my learning method. If you do try some new techniques, could you mention them on your post - I find it helpful when people explain how they have achieved their results.

@laroque Reading your comment, I thought of when we lived in Geneva (and my French was pathetic) and I took a wine tasting class. I learned nothing, but had a great time.
