How lovely! And I wish. We went for an early swim at the club today. 35mins(one way) in intermittent traffic jams + 35 mins swim & jacuzzi = ?!

Looks stressful , I can imagine the pushing and shoving in the Boulangerie . The Boule players all hot and bothered , looks a sedate place, my kind of spot

Very nice Tim... what's the story about the château?
November 2nd, 2016
@vignouse Recorded in the 11th Century, then developed notably by the Kings of Majorca in the 13th, when the tower was added as part of a chain of signal towers protecting the capital at Perpignan and the summer palace at Collioure. Had its 15mins of fame when one of the kings ook refuge here from the king of Aragon. The armoury was turned into a church in the 15th (still in use) and the tower collapsed in 1988 and is only a fraction of its original height - see photo at http://www.laroque-des-alberes.fr/fr/office-de-tourisme/decouvrir/laroque/le-chateau.html
