The area to the right of the road is the 'bois communal', several fields with shrubs and trees owned by the community. As far as Jasper is concerned, it must be what spaniel heaven looks like. He had most of his early walks there as a puppy. Now we tend to continue up the road, Roca Vella, towards the mountains. We must pass this tree 5 or 6 times per week. Curiously, I don't think Jasper has ever pee'd on it - he prefers to anoint the signposts.
