Jasper on the track of the Romans

The two grooves either side of Jasper were made over centuries by carts bringing iron ore from the mines on the flancs of Canigou to the principal Roman town of the region, Illiberis. This is one of the few parts that remain.
Wonderful information about the location and as always, great shot of Jasper!
