I really love old B&W photos. But when I found this one of my mother, I thought about bringing back some colour.
Phew! More difficult than expected...
No, not really difficult, but a task requiring great diligence. I totally failed making all those greens look realistic and naturally :-\ There should be many more colour shades, but finally I gave up. Maybe next time...
The original might look better, but I wanted to give colour a try :)
@casablanca Thanks a lot for your kind feedback! Actually you just need an image editing program that supports layers (and preferably masks, too).
I use a separate layer for each colour and blend them in where needed. But I use an ordinary computer mouse, no pen tablet, and then it's difficult to colour the small parts.
