Yes, finally! This is Katjes, a (formerly very) shy stray. Katjes appeared only by night, so I never had a chance to take a photo. This evening he visited me at dusk, I fetched my cam and got this one and only shot. Katjes is afraid of my cam, sorry little black cat!

Beautiful! Your story of Katjes is much like that of my black cat, "Pink", almost 16. For years she only came out from under the bed after dark to eat a meal, and if happened to be out, she's race back to her safe place if she heard unfamiliar voices! Only in recent months, she's staying out, sleeping on top of the bed with us and venturing outside!
