Today was not a very good day for a few reasons. So in an attempt to cheer myself up and clear my head, I went for a walk in the woods.
At first, I really couldn't find anything to take a picture of. But when i looked up I realized that I should be thankful for such a beautiful day. I know this isn't a "good" photo in terms of composition, etc. but I am thankful that this project forced me to find the beauty in my day.
Beautiful clear sky outlining a grove of birch trees with pristine snow and a nice path stage right and a hint of fir stage left; I think your composition is fine
I hope your walk in the woods helped. I have always found snowy woods to be one of the most peaceful places you can be. This looks lovely, I can't imagine not finding some sense of calm in it.
I like this one. The path, the blue sky between the white trees. Sharp details. It brought back my memory of similar experiences. Nice choice of the day.
I think this is a very pretty picture Lauren - you're too hard on yourself. And I may have to quote you on "find the beauty in my day". I think thats a very good motto.
What a great winter shot! I think it's a great shot. You've got the path to lead the eyes, great birch tree right in the front, snow that isn't totaly blown away like mine :-), and a great blue sky!
Hey there's nothiong wrong with this shot Lauren the perspective I like with the pathe leading through the trees, the sky is perfect & the trees are giving some great lines. Love it!
