I Should Have Brought a Boat by laurentye

I Should Have Brought a Boat

I went for a lovely bike ride along a beautiful path that I like to take. But halfway through my usual trail I encountered a slight problem...

Some of you may recall the large amount of snow my city has had until very recently. Well, now it has all melted and the poor river could not contain all the water. The water that you see on the bottom and to the bottom right is all suppose to be a continuation of the concrete bike path. But as you can see, it has flooded. The trail is suppose to curve along the grass and plants that you see here to the right. So, unfortunately this put an early end to my bike adventure!
Very nice scene. I like the reflections.

Hi Lauren you nailed this one well & truely..... Looked in my lunch break on my phone & even in thumbnail was an instant fav. The reflections & the clouds make this but the flooded path draw you round the tree on the right into the photograph. Wonderful shot :-)

Hi Lauren. This picture reminds me of my time working in Fort McMurray on the banks of the Athabasca River. Good times.
