Was looking for some nice flowers while walking from the bus stop to my door after work, found this instead. Took this picture and quickly ran inside my house afterwards to escape the swarming mosquitos. The mosquitos seem especially vicious this year. I have bites all over my arms (and I was even wearing long sleeves!)
wonderful capture and yes, they are quite horrible this year. we are thinking it has something to do with the bat population being down. white nose infection killed them off, not sure what it is called, but hardly any around here. any thoughts?
