The fundraiser for our son's mission trip for this month is the flocking flamingos. Anyone in the church is vulnerable to having their front lawn covered with flamingos unless they pay $10 for insurance against it. If someone else in the church pays to have your lawn flocked you have to pay $10 to have them removed. I didn't buy the insurance because I thought it would make a cool photo, and then today I realized I could get a photo anyways because I had to drive my son to the house he flocked.

A church in our town does this too, except with painted wooden sheep.
Every year the sheep are decorated differently and it's fun to see what ends up in our yard (or someone else's yard!)
