Snowflakes on Snowdrops on the First Day of Spring
It snowed here today and I thought it was the perfect time to take a photo of my snowdrops. A few weeks ago I posted them when they were just tiny pale shoots I uncovered from the leaves. At that time I explained they are called snowdrops because it often snows after they bloom and here's the proof. The good thing is it won't kill them.
Paula, It's actually thanks to you that I posted it! When I posted those tiny shoots, you asked to see the flowers when they bloomed, so I've been watching for them. The snow was just the perfect touch.
so nice
