Grape Hyacinth by lauriehiggins

Grape Hyacinth

Had to stick close to home today because I was expecting a package, so all I had to work with was a cloudy day in my own yard. I decided to play with macro shots and DOF. I took an absurb number of photos of these grape hyacinths, but I liked this one best because the little buds are all in different stages and the top ones are tightly clenched but look ready to burst open at any second. It reminded me of a special moment in my life.
what a vivid color on this. nice job Laura

That came out lovely! I'm really fond of grape hyacinth. It's one of the first flowers I see near my house in the spring.
