Still Blooming by lauriehiggins

Still Blooming

An antique house on a corner on Route 6A has brilliant forsythia bushes that wrap around the whole corner. I'm still playing with depth of focus, but I think it works better when the object focused on has a greater contrast than the background, but I did capture just how yellow this little corner of the world is. The sad thing is the owners of this house spend winters in Vale, Colorado and are never here to see this beauty in their own front yard.
Laurie, this is absolutely fabulous composition! I love the way you framed this branch of flowers in front of the long line of blooming bushes! This is just gorgeous! Nicely captured for sure.

This is really fabulous! It's a shame that the owners miss this

Well, it did allow me to tresspass on their property, though! Actually I know them and know they wouldn't mind.
