Thank you so much for all your comments, suggestions and friendship. I've learned so much from all of you. I took 99 photos today, of raindrops, an iris bud and a reshoot of lily of the valleys. The last one of the day won out for sheer sentimental reasons. I snuck a photo of my son, Tommy, while he was taking his photos for 365. I love going out with him every afternoon searching for a photo that inspires him. This wasn't his shot of the day, but this bait shop is pretty symbolic of our community, a combination of fishermen and artists. To see what Tommy choose instead: http://365project.org/tommyhiggins/365/2011-05-18. (I'm not sure if that link will work, but I tried.)
That's a great photo. Sophie and I started together but she doesn't seem to have time lately. I figure she'll start again this summer...maybe. :-) That's great that your son is into it like this. :-)
Very sweet. Glad you liked my biking shots. One of my very best vacations was in Cape Cod. My boys - then young - were even on TV as part of a park series they were doing at the time. They also had fun jumping off a ramp on a little fresh water pond where we were staying. Terrific place.
I love the fish too.. but it is nice that you snuck this in.. a shot of a shot.. as Brian so aptly put it... very cool.. nice to meet that future photographer of yours!!!
