There is nothing like the 365 community to make a person feel grateful and I want to thank every person who has stopped by recently and left a comment. You were the bright spots of a hard week. Today was another long writing day and I never even left my yard, so I decided to take a photo of a chicken/bird that would sit still long enough for me to actually capture it. My husband bought me this goofy chicken on Mother's Day two years ago in Provincetown. It was the day after he gave me my real gift of six live baby chicks, and we spent the afternoon in Provincetown with three of our four children, walking the beach and eating dinner at a clam shack on the pier. Every time I look at her, I remember the day and how much fun we had.
Most of my shots are silly! I try to look for humor in this drama filled series we call life!
This chicken and your memories are lovely! Your chicken has the prettiest feet! :-)
Sorry about that, Paula. I accidentally posted while I was still writing the caption. Sweet dreams. Lori - silly is good! It was fun to play around, and I kind of liked the reflection of the sky and my camera lens on the chicken.
Haha, aw, this is cute!
Re: tbh, I wasn't all that pumped to drive, I think my brothers more excited about my lesson then I was! It just seeme dlike another box to tick really, but I think I will enjoy the freedom :]
