My daughter, Melissa, left to go back home to Florida this morning, so I've been feeling kind of blue. After nearly a week of cold (1950's!) and rainy weather, the sun finally came out late this afternoon. Sometimes you just have to find your own sunshine. SOOC.
I'm so sorry - I just dont think you ever totally get used to them leaving. At least I haven't. Dang kids. I hope the sun and this beautiful happy photo give you a reason to smile.
Laurie.. I feel your sadness.. but it is the rule of parenthood.. raise them well and prepare them for life.. you have done your part, and when they visit they bring with them the happiness that only they can bring.. the photo is lovely and yes.. it is up to each of us to find our own sunshine and happiness in this life...
Awww, sorry Melissa left and you are feeling blue. I send you a big hug! Your sunshine flower shot is so lovely and cheerful! Take care and make a plan to go visit Melissa in Florida!
