We went to P-town for dinner at a South African restaurant and a very entertaining play called "Hedwig & The Angry Inch." I have to write reviews of both tomorrow, but it was a great night. In between dinner and the play I had about 45 minutes to take photos. Must go back soon...
When I asked permission to take this shot, the drag queen said, "Do you think I spend this much time not to be photographed?" Terry, the play was incredible, but very hard to describe...I'm working on that now....
OMG, I LOVE this sort of thing! I had to laugh when I read what the drag queen said when you asked for a photo...a few yrs ago we were in PTown and I saw a lovely drag queen and asked my husband to ask her if I could take a pic of the two of them and he said no because wouldn't she be mad. I said no, that's what they want...but her answer...whoa..that was much better than mine! I read it to my hubby and he laughed. I was thinking of going to see Hedwig...I loved the movie. Freaking terrific photo, Laurie!
Have I told you that my ideal woman would wear biking shorts and LOVE musical theater..... I envy your connection to theater! And I love Drag Queens too... I have love for everything beautiful in this kooky world! and much for you too.....
