Another Rainy Day by lauriehiggins

Another Rainy Day

It was so gloomy and dark today that the street lights came on in the afternoon. It was a long day at work and my photos today were uninspired to say the least. So I decided to post a filler of another rainy day. For some reason I've thought of this photo alot, so I decided it belonged in my album.
I just love this! A definite fav! I love how you can see the rain falling into the water and the way you composed this with just their legs showing!

Thst's so funny because I used a filler today too. Excellent composition on this one, and it has a nice feel to it. I can see why you wanted to post it. :-)

I fav'd this because it is a shot you can write your own caption to. I see it as a big brother and a little brother contemplating if the fish are biting. Or maybe a big sister with her little brother taking in the beauty of nature. I love it

I think it's a cute perspective Laurie, and it deserves to be in your album.

This one definitely belonged in your album. It tells a story, which is open to interpretation.

great composition on this Laurie
I feel what you're saying about work!
I've been putting in 10-12 hour days all week so far
and i'm out on the road all day tomorrow too.
I've been going to project meetings all over and I'm just exhausted
I've spent too much time in my car!

@sarasdadandmom It's my son (big boy) and my youngest brother's new step-son (little boy, who we all simply adore!). But yes, the stories and possibilities are endless, and I actually could not get this shot out of my head.

@yoshi Oh Yoshi, I can so relate! Just so you know, the shot that you faved of the burning bush and "natures use of selection of color" was taken from my car. I just pulled over and opened the window.

I love this shot. It tells a story. I bet they have their hands in their pockets.
November 17th, 2011
@angievega I'm also a journalist and very honest. Angie, your photos of feet are simply gorgeous in every way. That was not an off-handed comment, sweetie. It's the truth.
