Classic Cape Cod by lauriehiggins

Classic Cape Cod

I had to stay home all day today because I was waiting for a phone call to do an interview with someone who I needed to talk to for a story due at 10 a.m. tomorrow. The woman was at a theater conference in Georgia, and of course she called right before boarding a plane during the five minutes I took the dog out for a walk at 5 p.m.

Being the consumate professional she is, she answered all the questions I left in her voice mail in my voice mail, so I got the needed quotes. But the bottom line was I never got out to take a photo today.

This is a filler from my ducky Sunday. I'm pretty sure I wasn't going to get anything better than this today anyways.
So peaceful and tranquil--I need to visit!

Is the pond very far from the Wellfleet drive-in? Maybe I should ask if the drive-in is still there?... it's been a long time!
