I had to stay home all day today because I was waiting for a phone call to do an interview with someone who I needed to talk to for a story due at 10 a.m. tomorrow. The woman was at a theater conference in Georgia, and of course she called right before boarding a plane during the five minutes I took the dog out for a walk at 5 p.m.
Being the consumate professional she is, she answered all the questions I left in her voice mail in my voice mail, so I got the needed quotes. But the bottom line was I never got out to take a photo today.
This is a filler from my ducky Sunday. I'm pretty sure I wasn't going to get anything better than this today anyways.
Oh, isn't that so frustrating!? That always happens to me too. Fantastic shot though, and I just can't say enough good things about it... so I'll just say FAV!!
great comp and lighting! beautiful shot! the blues are gorgeous. glad you liked the sugar bush pic. like anything, there's peaks and valleys with the visits. it's been an unprecedented peak recently so we just enjoy it while it lasts.
No way you would have gotten anything better. This is a wonderful photo and it may sound nuts but I love the branches of that tree rising above the pine. two wonderful outlines at once. Where is this? the buildings are fab.
@orangecrush You should come to Cape Cod for sure! Your girls would love the flats of Brewster. It's kid heaven. No worries on missing my photos. I've missed so many of your's and everyone else's this week. I've worked until midnight or later every night this week. Sigh...
