This little guy was born in one of my birdhouses. He sat on the deck railing for quite a while today, fluttering his wings like a hummingbird and crying. Another young bird that I believe is his sister kept going to the feeder and bringing him food. It was the funniest thing, but hard to capture.

Yes I can imagine him shouting to be fed. and it's a very beautiful bird. do you know what kind he is? we've two birdhouses..one is a little more fancy to look at , which is just a wooden box with a hole hanging on a post..that one is occupied the other is not.. the young ones oh btw they were sparrows just left the nest. last year we had a chance of seeing the mother bird coaxing the babies to come out..saw them in flight and then down on the ground. took oodles of pictures.
Yeah,l I had to feed my brother too...he was too lazy to get up off the couch and make a grilled cheese sandwich most of the time. Haha This is a phenomenal shot! I see you got a TON of favs on it! Well deserved!
