The last day of our tour, seen us visit the site where the signing of the Armistice took place that ended the war at Compiègne. It was a really interesting place, and we learnt so much here. There is also a small museum at the site, and it holds a replica of the carriage where the Armistice was signed....the original carriage was destroyed after the WW2 signing, and being taken to Germany. This shot was taken from the front of the carriage, to include all the flags.
