Lake Tekapo

South Island - New Zealand....from our trip in November last year. This was one of my most favourite places - the scenery & weather was just perfect. We used Lake Tekapo as a base to also visit Mt Cook, which was also pretty spectacular.

@paul10 Thank you. Yes, they are snow capped mountains in the background (even in Mid/late November - almost summer , and believe it or not, the pretty pink/purple flowers are apparently WEEDS!
