The other day when I was in Grenfell (the town where I took the old railway station shot), I discovered that there is a Chrysler Museum in town, and knew that my hubby would love to see it as he is a big fan of Chrysler's, especially Valiants.
So today we went over there to the museum. There's about 15 old Chrysler's there, so it's not all that big, but we spent over 2 hours there, talking with the owner (who opened up just for us....how cool is that!), and admiring all the old cars. Hubby had an absolute ball, and I enjoyed it very much too. I took shots of all the cars, so then had the dilemma of which one to choose for today's shot....the ultra cool Valiant Charger RT, the Plymouth Barracuda, the 1930 Dodge DC8 or this one, the 1933 Royal Eight. The Royal Eight won....there's just something about it that I love - a really beautiful old motor car...could just see myself getting around in something like this :)
There's nothing like an old vintage car. This is stunning, beautiful and beautifully captured. Big thumbs up to the owner for allowing you entry 👍 Fav! 😉
What a beautiful capture of a beautiful car. One of my homework assignments in my very first photography class was at the Henry Ford museum shooting antique cars...it was called Romancing the Lines
