St Andrews by leggzy

St Andrews

This one is from the same village that I shared the unknown church a couple of days ago. It is no longer used & is now privately owned...although I'm not sure if the new owners are renovating or anything - it didn't appear to be.

Note the blue door & trim....blue must have been quite trendy on churches around these parts back then (but it is not as blue as yesterday's shot). I love love love it's beautiful stone work.

Anglican church - built around 1905/6.
Held its last service 21.4.2012 - so served the community well for 106 years.
This is such a pretty church. It's going to be lovely to look back at your month of March and see all these lovely churches. Super idea.

Nice shot of the church.

So pretty, I love the brickwork. Not so sure I would like my home to be a converted church though.

Nice little church

The blue trim is a lovely compliment to beautiful stonework. There seems to be a growing trend in converting old churches into houses :)

It's such a pretty stone church. I find it really interesting that many of these little churches are just sitting on a piece of property. No walkway, no real landscaping. I like that more simplistic feel. But it always saddens me when a church closes.
