Centre of NSW by leggzy

Centre of NSW

Yesterdays shot was of the monument in Tottenham being the centre of NSW. Just outside of Tottenham is this cairn which marks the actual geographical centre of the state of NSW. While we were so close travelling through Tottenham, it was a must to go a little out of the way to be able to stand here, in the centre of our home state.
Fabulous!

Love those colours. Haven't been here but we did visit Lambert's Centre of Australia on the last trip.

That's cool! Loving the rich red color of the dirt. Wondering if it's iron oxide from being an ocean bed in ancient times.

That's a great way to landmark a trip. There is a bridge near me that allows you to stand with one foot in the State of New Jersey and the other in the state of Pennsylvania. I often bring visitors there just for the fun of it. Good shot!
