Family Tree

Something a little different for todays tree.

A mini canvas that I created back in my scrapbooking days, when I also delved into mixed media art. I also love doing family history, so the subject of the canvas was right up my alley.

@onewing Thank you :) The trunk & branches of the tree is a scrapbooking product made of chipboard - basically thick flat cardboard. I added texture to it using modelling paste & impasto paste...and then it was stained. Hope that makes sense.

@busylady the tree trunk & branches is a scrapbooking product made of chipboard (thick cardboard), but it's just flat on the top so I added the texture using modelling paste that I just blobbed on there & then ran the prongs of a fork through it to create the texture
