Mincemeat

I'm a bit behind this year, I've usually done this by the last week in November. I'll be making some mince pies tomorrow.
Looks good. I've just made mine and it's waiting in the bowl, being stirred each day before being potted into jars.

@plainjaneandnononsense It should be pretty soothing to eat, there's an awful lot of brandy in there!

Yes I do agree but most of my mincemeat finds its way into mincemeat and apple crumbles/tarts or is given to friends!

Love the look of it, I'm sure the pies will be delicious. Evokes for me a very Christmassy taste and aroma!
