Is this mauve? I'm not sure what mauve is. I always think of it as a rather drab Miss Marple-ish sort of colour and these tulips that have opened up in my garden over the last few sunny days are far from drab.
Not sure if it is mauve but it is beautiful. There are so many different colours from purple to violet and I think mauve might be somewhere in the middle, so maybe it is!!!
I just Google-imaged the word 'mauve' and the pics that came up were every shade of purple imaginable, and even some pinks, so not helpful at all! But still a lovely capture whether it's mauve or not :-)
