When I saw this on social media I just loved the idea and knew I wanted to join in. Today I bought the snacks, found an extra basket in the house and made the sign. I also put a little note in the mailbox for Larry the mailman letting him know about the little snack basket on the porch in case he wanted anything. Bob didn't seem thrilled with the idea at first I think he came around when the door bell rang twice, first it was Larry handing me our mail and thanking me for the snacks. The second ding dong was Amazon and when Bob got up to get the package the driver said thanks from the driveway. I think the idea is spreading because on our walk around the neighborhood today we spied another snack basket on a porch with their little sign. It's probably time to bring the basket in for the night. My new daily chore for awhile.
Tiny helped set it up but I didn't make him stay. The sign is now hung on the bench and guarded by Mr. and Mrs. Snowden.
