I'm doing a pelican tour tomorrow out of the eastern shore so I headed to the beach today. I pass a small zoo in Salisbury, Md. that has finally reopened with no restriction so I stopped. Still haven't been able to score a pass with parking to the National Zoo in D.C. yet. Hopefully it will be fully opened with no pass required soon.
Cov-id seems to be in the rearview mirror here with no deaths reported in the last few days and more than 70% of Maryland vaccinated. Still hard to believe what we have lived through the last 15 or so months.
The bird is beautiful and your photo of it superb. I am looking forward to your zoo shots again soon. We are mostly looking back to at what we went through as well.
Beautiful Leslie! I need to get out soon to other places. I have yet to go to Brookside Gardens this Spring/Summer. I too am glad about Covid being in the rear view window, although since I am a nurse and work in the hospital, its still tightly locked down.
