New River Gorge Bridge by lesip

New River Gorge Bridge

The New River Gorge Bridge held the title of the longest single-span bridge in the world until 2003, it is still the longest in the United States. It is made from COR-TEN steel that rusts over time and provides the bridge with a protective layer to eliminate the need for painting and annual upkeep. There are multiple spots were you can get a great view of the bridge. We went to three of them. This was or first spot which is located in The New River Gorge National Park And Preserve.
A fabulous subject for fall where the rust blends in with the other colors! A remarkable composition as well!
