Had this scene in my head when I bought these pumpkins from Butlers Orchard Friday. Didn't know where Mr. Squirrel would put himself though. Leaves, Mum pieces, and flowers picked from the front yard. Set tripod and camera with my big lens on the deck . Grabbed a chair and my iPad and waited ...waited... waited. Next door neighbor Dave was grilling out as I explained what I was watching for. Finally give up and brought everything in. Thirty minutes later phone rings and
Dave says squirrel has arrived so out I go with camera coming around side of yard to hopefully not scare him off. Took some shoots from back side walkway before attempting to get on deck. Good thing because he noticed me trying to sneak on the deck and off he went.....(It's hard to sneak with a camera on a tripod and a big ass lens)
Oh, forgot to mention I poured some birdseed and placed some peanuts behind the pumpkins. There is a reason he is up there....
That's a taxidermy squirrel, isn't it? ;) Haha kidding...amazing, it looks as if the squirrel wanted his picture taken with all the cool stuff! It's beautiful :)
