One Big Happy Family

It's cold and a little windy but thought I'd give this a try. Walked around the yard collecting the different still colored leaves on the ground and placed them on the van windshield after moving the van into the sunny part of the driveway. Got in the van and took the picture through the windshield after numerous tries because they kept blowing off. There's got to be a better way? This shot progressed into my extra album and moved to an upstairs window that I fully opened so now the house is a bit chilly but should warm up by the time Bob gets home. He doesn't like me heating the neighborhood.

As I am desperately trying to catch up on my views and comments I saw your other picture first. I liked the other one but I prefer this one, as some how it seems less contrived.

Great setup!

@busylady without the wind it would have been a piece of cake but then I wouldn't have gone through the trouble with the twine .
November 15th, 2014
Beautifully done. I don't quite understand how you did it. It's great!

@khawbecker very easy with no wind..
1. place leaves on outside of front windshield of car
2. get in car and shot the leaves aiming high to get the sky but avoiding the steering wheel.
3. done

You are so very creative, Leslie. I love all the colors and the sky as your background. I take a lot of photos out our windshield. Never thought of this though and would have had to walk around the neighborhood to get colors like this. You make me laugh as my husband closed our front door as soon as he got home, he was too cold. Not using the heater yet though getting close. FAV
