Was the second shooter in my first wedding today. I stress out easily and then wonder why once the reason has passed. Still don't think wedding are for me but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Bob bought me flowers and made me breakfast this morning. I heard from both my boys today and talked on the phone with my mom last night in case we missed talking to each other today (we did but I left a message). Happy Mothers Day my friends.........
Happy Mothers Day too. This is such a sweet shot. I've been doing lots of weddings as a second shooter and I just love it. Lots of fun but without the stress of running the show :)
this is one of the sweetest photos i have seen in a very long time. would love to have this if i was the bride and groom, or one of the parents. just perfection. they were lucky to have you there.
@amandal Amanda I didn't fall asleep the night before till 4 am my mind just wouldn't stop worrying about what I had gotten myself into. Told myself never again but it went well and most of the nervousness went away as I started shooting. This was one of the first shots in the loft of the building while the bride was getting dressed. If asked I think I would do it again but I'm sure I will not sleep the night before. I do know I will never be the main photographer !!! I love capturing the candid shoots. Not sure how many shots the main photographer took but I took over 700 ! Can't imagine having to go through them all and process the keepers. My camera has two card slots so I handed over one to the main photographer after the wedding and my job was done. I asked the bride if I could share a few shots and she said absolutely. How was your Mothers Day? I hear from both of my boys so that made me happy. Wasn't sure my youngest (27) would even realize it was Mothers Day. lol
@lesip I would so do that...I don't sleep with nerves. You took bunches. And these came out so great. Yeah, I don't think I could be the main either. My Mothers Day was wonderful and full of treats and love. Great family time. Glad yours was nice, toO!
