With no plans and Bob mentioning the Chinese New Years parade happening in Chinatown today, off I went. Bob tagged along and I think enjoyed the parade but not the waiting around and the crowds. We took the metro and with each stop the train filled with very young adults all carrying homemade signs. Not sure where they were going to protest but they all exited before the Chinatown station. Hope it was peaceful and no one got hurt, I haven't seen the evening news yet. No protests at the parade and I ended up in a pretty good spot for pictures.
