Had a wonderful time on the boat birding trip out of Lewes, Delaware. Not really a birder although I love to photograph them. Funny I overheard the leader of the trip say as we were getting ready to dock ending our 4 hour sea excursion " for those that aren't birders and came for the seals the first 3 1/2 hours they are bored out of their minds". LOL I came for the seals but there was so much to photograph two lighthouses, the shore, WWII towers and even the birders. To say it was COLD on the top deck of the boat is an understatement. I had enough energy to grab some dinner ,call Bob and within 10 minutes fall asleep on the couch. Funny but this was my favorite capture. Will share more this week and so glad the government shutdown has ended at least for now.
