Went out looking for photos only to arrive home and see this. My street is just off the bottom left of the photo. I thought I need that picture before the weather hits. It's a pretty busy street so I went home to ask Bob if he'd spot me as I stood in the middle of the street. They have pretreated the street with liquid magnesium chloride, calcium chloride and sodium chloride for anti-icing. Now to see whether we get snow, ice, sleet, freezing rain or nothing. I vote for nothing but pictures can be had with the other choices.
What a fascinating subject. It makes the most interesting photo too. Clever of you to get the picture before that truck at the top of the hill comes barreling down on you
