Came home from the beach last Friday to monarch caterpillars on my milkweed plant. In order to help them survive and not be someone’s breakfast, lunch or dinner I moved them to a temporary home . I have spent the week keeping their home clean and adding leaves a couple times each day. Yesterday one started his climb to the top. Between 8 this morning and noon I had my first chrysalis . Tonight the other three caterpillars have joined in the climb and hang. No more poop removal or leave feeding. YAY ... The wait is on for the transition to butterflies. This isn’t my first rodeo 😊
